A fraction of a second separates me from the luminous spot
over and over again
I sense its glimpses
I anticipate the dispossession without qualms
and right then…
The consciousness of the infinite
takes over my lost memories
in a millisecond
the oscillation between two bodies fused
in an eternal cry
steals vilely
the possibility of not fearing death;
not my death, but
the void, the nothingness, the distilled nebula
that momentarily surrounds
the small beam of light
the one in which life and agony converge
and your breath explodes into a thousand twilight stars
and a breathless cry of exquisite silence
takes us back to the most remote beginnings
Today, the light that owns all senses eludes me...
Perhaps,
because without your presence
the luminous spot
Is nothing more than insipid evanescence
