When I was completing my certificate in Women's Studies, I dreamed of maybe - just maybe I might have an opportunity teach a class at the Institute for Women's Studies at the University of Georgia. After receiving the certificate, I talked to professor Cris Lira about feminist scholars and the best way to teach a diverse course including as many subjects related to women and gender studies as possible.
This is my second semester teaching the course. The more I teach, the more I enjoy learning about the waves of feminism, the women in different countries, in different situations and cultures. This semester, I wanted to make a small gallery of some of the creative art produced by the students in my class of Fall 2022 to keep as a memory. Enjoy!
